The Cows
What do all the cows decorating our office have to do with mustard anyway? Well, everyone knows that mustard comes from the Mustard Cow!
But seriously (well, not too seriously), it all began many years ago when Bossy (Devora) and her trusted side-kick Kalfy (Kathy) were taking an evening stroll after the World Wide Mustard Festival.
At the time, Kathy lived on a very remote ranch and she often arrived at work with the news that the cows had broken down the fence and eaten her garden again.
Walking by a shop window displaying cow figurines Devora (who was a little brain-dead after an exhausting day) said to Kathy, “Whenever I see a cow I think of you.”
Now, a lesser co-worker might have thought she had just been likened to a cow, but Kathy just laughed off the apparent insult.
But Devora was so mortified that she bought Kathy a cow pin the very next day. We have been sharing cows ever since. Our collection runs to the odd, ugly and unbelievable, but some too-cute and antique cows have joined the herd as well.
